What is LeafCoat?
Leaf Coat is a ready-to-use product that strengthens the plant and protects it against unwanted insects and mold. Leaf Coat is a product made from natural rubber that has been developed to limit evaporation.
A few hours after application, a very thin elastic layer forms around the leaves. This natural rubber forms a protective, permeable, self-degradable layer on the leaf while allowing air and light to pass through. However, this thin layer is effective enough to protect the plant from pests and diseases.
How can I use Leaf Coat?
BioBizz Leaf Coat does not need to be mixed with water, it is ready to use. For the best results, we recommend applying Leaf Coat using an atomizer. Spray the leaves and flowers of the plant completely, repeat this approximately twice a week. Leaf Coat can be used up to two weeks before the end of the flowering period.
Remark:
Leaf Coat is not absorbed by the leaves and therefore the taste of the fruit is not affected.
Protective layer formed by Leaf Coat.
If the plants are in a too warm atmosphere (above 28 degrees Celsius), they can lose a large amount of moisture through their leaves. By applying LeafCoat, a natural rubber is formed around the leaf, which prevents the plant from sweating excessively.
On the other hand, Leaf Coat can be used at lower temperatures, especially in winter, to form a small layer around the leaf that protects against the cold. The natural rubber formed by Leaf Coat helps to maintain the temperature.
