Food-grade mineral fertilizer 15% calcium, Bionova Ca 15. Calcium plays an important role in stabilizing cell walls, ionic reactions in plants, influencing growth hormones and regulating nutrient and water transport in your plant. In high humidity or in a compact stand, conductivity is low and can lead to calcium deficiency. Plants absorb all nutrients directly, which ensures optimal control of your plants.
What is Calsium
Calcium is abundant in cell walls and membranes and plays a special role in ionic reactions in plants. Calcium is transported in the plant via the water pipe (xylem).
In high humidity or in a compact stand, conductivity is low and can lead to calcium deficiency.
A lack of calcium leads to softening of the cell walls, which immediately leads to increased susceptibility to mold and the death of young leaves and shoot tips. An excess of calcium can also occur, leading to brown spots on the leaves.
Tips
* If yellow spots with brown round spots can be seen on the leaves, there is a calcium (Ca) deficiency. Add Ca 15 to the crop.
This will help the plants to recover quickly from a nutrient deficiency.
* Weekly application of Ca 15 during fruit formation to prevent physiopathological phenomena such as root rot in tomatoes,
bitter cores in apple trees, burst fruit and dried leaves in lettuce, for example.
* When growing in a humid environment, double the dosage of Ca 15 to strengthen plant tissue.
* Use three times the normal dosage of Ca 15 when using soft water or reverse osmosis water.
Use Ca 15 to harden off the shoot tissue of mother plants just before cutting the clones for better rooting.
