Food safe mineral fertilizer 15% calcium, Bionova Ca 15. Calcium plays an important role in stabilizing cell walls, ion reactions within plants, influencing growth hormones and it regulates the transport of nutrients and water in your plant. In situations of high humidity or in a compact crop, the conductivity rate is small and can lead to calcium deficiency. Plants absorb all nutrient-quality minerals directly for optimal control of your plants.
What is Calsium
Calcium is commonly found in cell walls and membranes and plays a special role in ionic reactions in plants. Calcium is transported in the plant by water conduction (xylem).
In situations of high humidity or in a compact crop, the conduction rate is low and can lead to calcium deficiency.
A shortage of calcium leads to softened cell walls which manifests itself directly in an increased susceptibility to fungi. and the death of young leaves and growing points. Excess calcium can also occur. resulting in brown spots on the leaves.
Tips
* When yellow parts with brown round dots occur on the leaves there is a calcium (Ca) deficiency, apply Ca 15
in the culture. To help plants recover quickly from nutrient deficiency.
* Apply Ca 15 weekly during fruit formation to prevent physiopathologies, such as apical rot in tomatoes,
bitter seeds in apple trees, fruit cracking and dried leaves in lettuce for example.
* When growing in a humid environment, double the dosage of Ca 15 to strengthen plant tissues.
* Use 3 times the normal dose of Ca 15 when using soft water or reverse osmosis water.
* Use Ca 15 to harden the tissue of the shoot on mother plants just prior to cutting clones, in preparation
for healthier rooting.
* To produce healthy seeds after pollination, increase the dosage of Ca 15 along with MgO 10. Both products
contain nitrogen, leading to adequate nutrient uptake.
* To set up a personalized feeding schedule: use Bionova Ca 15 mononutrient, you can determine exactly how much calcium to
to your crop.
* Mono nutrients can be used for outdoor cultivation. After controlling the soil and (irrigation) water, Bionova
mono nutrients to ensure sufficient available nutrients.
Application
* Bionova Ca 15 should be applied in case of shortages and/or to strengthen cell walls.
* Bionova Ca 15 is miscible with all Bionova fertilizers, stimulators, minerals, universals & substrates.
* Bionova Ca 15 can be used as irrigation and foliar spray.
