Potassium plays a diverse role in the metabolism of plants: On the one hand, it controls the water balance by regulating the osmotic pressure in the cells. Potassium is also involved in photosynthesis and the transport of nutrients such as sugar, starch and cellulose in the plant. Last but not least, it is important for frost and disease resistance. The main signs of a potassium deficiency are pale, wilted leaves and poor vigor.
Canna Potassium (16%) is the fertilizer of choice for potassium deficiency. It contains organic potassium that can be absorbed quickly and easily by the plant. Canna Potassium (16%) supports resistance by strengthening the cell tissue. It also promotes flowering and has a balancing effect on the plant's water balance. The fertilizer also increases the production of carbohydrates and protein.
You can use Canna Potassium (16%) both for acute potassium deficiency and as an additional nutrient supply for particularly lush flowering.
Note: Please ensure that you never mix Canna Potassium (16%) with fertilizers containing calcium or magnesium, as these nutrients block each other.
It is also important to avoid overdosing, as too much potassium prevents the necessary supply of calcium and magnesium and acidifies the root environment of the plants, which can lead to lasting damage. Therefore, only add one to two milliliters to one liter of water.
