The main nutrients (also known as macronutrients) for plants include the four basic organic elements carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen as well as phosphorus, potassium, calcium, sulphur and magnesium. The seven essential trace elements iron, manganese, zinc, copper, chlorine, boron and molybdenum are also vital. They are needed in both the growth and flowering phases.

While boron is responsible for the membrane structure and cell wall construction, chlorine, together with potassium, regulates the plant's water balance. Iron is a component of leaf green (chlorophyll) and an important agent in photosynthesis. Manganese is also involved in photosynthesis and strengthens the plant's defenses. Like boron, copper is an important component of the cell wall and is also involved in energy metabolism. Zinc promotes amino acid synthesis and therefore plays a role in plant growth.

To compensate for or prevent a lack of trace elements, there is the Canna Trace Mix. It is a liquid trace element mix that can be easily combined with other fertilizers (with the exception of concentrated calcium-containing fertilizers).

Canna Trace Elements Trace Mix is composed of:

- Iron / Fe (DTPA & EDDHA) 0.06 %

- Molybdenum / Mo 0.07 %

- Copper / Cu 0.06 %

- Manganese / Mn 0.6 %

- Boron / B 0.3 %

- Zinc / Zn 0.3 %

Dosage: 1 to 2 milliliters per liter of water. Please do not overdose, otherwise your plant may be damaged!
