Soni-mite: Seed bags against spider mites
Soni-mite contains breeding bags of Neoseiulus Californicus predatory mites. For a period of five weeks, a single sachet will produce a thousand predatory mites. Each sachet has a pre-pierced hole through which the predatory mites emerge. This gives you five weeks of protection against spider mites.

The most common spider mite is greenhouse spider mite. However, Soni-mite also eats other spider mites such as fruit spider mite, strawberry mite, citrus mite and begonia mite.

When to use Soni-mite predatory mites?
Ideal for preventive use, you protect your plants when you expect spider mites.
Can also be used curatively but only in case of an incipient infestation.
For indoor, greenhouse or outdoor use.
Can control spider mites on houseplants: greenhouse spider mite, citrus mite, begonia mite, cyclamen mite.
Can control greenhouse spider mites on vegetables especially on eggplant, cucumber, bell bell pepper, beans and melon.
Can be used on strawberries, grapes and fruit trees to control fruit spider mite, greenhouse spider mite and strawberry mite.
Can be used on spider mites on ornamental plants.
Works at varying temperatures (does not need to be a constant temperature) and low humidity.
How to use Soni-mite predatory mites?
The breeding bags have a hook that makes them easy to hang on the plants.

Preventive: hang 1 breeding bag per m² or 1 breeding bag per 2.5 running meters in case of low plants. In case of high plants dose twice. If the plants are not touching each other, hang 1 grow bag per plant.

If you have many plants next to each other but not yet touching: place a light net over the plants. Hang grow bags scattered around the plants. The predatory mites can move from plant to plant through the net.

Replace the breeding bags after 5 weeks if you want to further protect your plants against spider mites.

Disadvantages Soni-mite
The breeding bags start to run out around the date printed on the bags. Freshly produced breeding bags need a start-up time of about one week before the first predatory mites begin to emerge. Take this into account when placing your order. Spider mites can grow very fast!

Combine with another predatory mite?
If a spider mite hotspot develops after the introduction of Soni-mite. Sprinkle Forni-mite or Phyto-mite in a tube.

Breeding bags against spider mite can be used in combination with breeding bags against thrips. The different predatory mites do not interfere with each other on the plants.

Can I store Soni-mite?
The grow bags have a pre-pierced hole through which the predatory mites emerge as soon as the cultivation is complete. If the breeding bags are kept in a warm environment, they may sprout sooner than the date on the breeding bag. Therefore hang the breeding bags on the plants in time to prevent them from sprouting in their storage location.

Spraying in combination with predatory mites?
Spraying chemical or natural products (e.g. neem oil, tobacco) in combination with predatory mites is not a good idea.
