Description
SMSCOM SPC/STC 8 and 16 Amp Climate Controller
After unpacking, check the SPC for transport damage, voltage and frequency. Never install the SPC near water pipes, rain, drains, etc. and make sure the power is off. Make sure the work place is clean and dry! The installation of the SPC and the elimination of possible failures must be carried out by a qualified electrician according to the applicable standards.
Starting up
Switch in position "AUTO": The SPC operates fully automatically. The fans are controlled depending on the settings. After switching on the SPC, the connected fans always start for a few seconds at full voltage.
Switch in position "0": In this position the SPC is switched off.
Switch in position "100%": If, in case of failure, the automatic control is no longer
function, the connected fans must be switched to this position.
switch to this position. They will then run at full mains voltage.
Operating Instructions:
* Set the minimum ventilation level (e.g. 20%)
* Set the maximum ventilation level (e.g. 80%)
* Set the ventilation bandwidth. The control range between minimum and maximum ventilation remains, regardless of the settings, at least 10% (e.g., 2ᵒC).
* Set the desired temperature. When the indoor temperature exceeds the set,
set point temperature, the SPC selects the corresponding ventilation level depending on the set bandwidth.
Features
* Accurate climate control!
* Can be connected and operated by anyone!
* Minimum and maximum speed adjustable
* Plug & play: immediately ready for use!
* Including 5 meter temperature sensor
Please note!
The SMSCOM SPCs are adjusted to the most common fans. However, resetting the minimum speed is possible. Therefore the "cal. Min" potentiometer (left of the fuseholder). Left is minus and right is plus. Adjust in such a way that the suction always continues to run in minimum suction position. ADJUSTING LOWER INCREASES THE CHANCE OF HUMMING. If the SPC is switched off (0 position) and then on again, first set the switch to 100% and then switch to auto position. This is recommended to protect connected extractors.
