The ultra quiet SMSCom Hybrid Controller MK2 uses a software controlled technology combined with a mechanical 5 step system for fan speed control. It is designed to maintain a constant room temperature and control airflow at all times. The presence of a heavy duty 5 step transformer makes the Hybrid Controller MK2 the most reliable and quiet controller on the market ensuring that your fan does not buzz or hum. With the addition of the PRO software with light sensor, the Hybrid Controller MK2 will also control the humidity in your space at night.*

Fans with unequal cubage
The difference in capacity of the fans (e.g. a 1000m3 and 2000m3) automatically creates the correct negative pressure. Note that the smaller fan is connected to the "FAN AIR IN" socket and the larger to "FAN AIR OUT". Of course you can also connect only 1 fan, then connect this to "FAN AIR OUT". The Hybrid Controller MK2 will control the fans in steps and continue to search for the set temperature.

User Manual
* Connect your Fans correctly to the blue outlets (Small Fan=IN / Large Fan=OUT)
* Set the desired MINIMUM fan speed with button1 (e.g. step 1)
* Set the desired temperature with button2 (e.g. 25°C)
* Set the desired MAXIMUM fan speed with button3 (e.g. step 5)
* Place the Temperature sensor in your room. Note, not in direct airflow or directly under a light source.
* Place the Light Sensor in your space, facing the light source, do not remove the cap yet!*
* Now connect Hybrid Controller MK2 to the mains.

* PRO function OFF (cover not removed):
As long as the cap is not removed from the sensor the PRO function will not be activated, you will use the PRO function only when humidity control is crucial.

*PRO function ON (cap removed):
The PRO function ensures that extra air is exchanged at night, even if the temperature does not require it. Once the light sensor detects that it is dark, the fans will run one step harder than the speed the controller is currently running every hour for 7 minutes. This will prevent the high humidity that occurs at night. By slightly increasing the speed of the fans, the temperature will be minimally affected, especially in the cold winter months. As soon as the light is turned back on, the PRO function, because the humidity problem occurs mainly at night, will be turned off and will start regulating again in the normal way.

Caution! Once the PRO function is activated, you can only deactivate it by resetting the SMSCOM Hybrid Controller MK2. (Remove the power plug from the socket briefly and put it back)
