Description
Sonoconnect is a thermally and acoustically insulated air hose, consisting of a micro-perforated inner channel of the aluconnect type and a metallized outer lining in polyester. The fiberglass insulation is specially designed for flexible hoses. A polyester buffer is placed between the fiberglass insulation and the inner duct to prevent insulation particles from diffusing into the airflow. The Sonoconnect insulated air hose is easy to install on round or oval connectors. Since the product contains no PVC, no toxic fumes will be released in the event of a fire.
Microperforated inner hose of Aluconnect type, consisting of two layers of 7μ aluminum each, and two layers of 12μ polyester each, total thickness with adhesive: 48.5μ
Metallized polyester outer lining, consisting of two layers of polyester of 12μ each, reinforced with glass fiber wire, total thickness: 30μ

Application
Sonoconnect flexible ducts are used in exhaust, ventilation, air conditioning and air handling systems where high mechanical strength, temperature resistance, fire resistance and high thermal and acoustic insulation values are required.

Conditions:
The Sonoconnect ducts are not suitable for air transport with a high concentration of acids and bases.
The Sonoconnect cannot be used for the discharge of combustion gases from fireplaces and oil boilers.

Shipping
Due to the size of the Sonoconnect air hose, we may have to remove the hose from the box for shipping. Also, many sizes cannot be shipped as parcel post. These are then automatically calculated as pallet mail.
